Asiya Shervani is a change management, organizational ethics, diversity, inclusion and leadership development expert who consults with performing arts​,​ gaming, animation, software companies as well as academia/educational institutions, corporates and start-ups. Asiya has developed conceptual frameworks and created original learning content for topics as diverse as gender (rights, roles and responsibilities), unconscious bias, body image, relationships, identity, self-esteem, consent, boundaries, interpersonal ethics, cultivating compassion, assertiveness, giving and receiving feedback, gender, employee wellbeing and collaboration. She designs and facilitates customized workshops on the legal, ethical and psychological aspects of the 2013 PoSH Act for students, faculty, producers, directors, OTT platforms, managements, guilds, unions, film festivals as well as the internal committee members. She is an advisor with and conducts masterclasses, consultations and sensitization programs for the Producers Guild of India, Film Companion, Sikhya Entertainment, Roy Kapur Films, Salman Khan Ventures, Ramesh Sippy Entertainment, Sony Entertainment, MAMI, Wench Film Festival, WCC etc. Asiya is part of a core committee of WCC (Women in Cinema Collective) working on gender equity, parity and safety related best practices for the southern Indian film industry. She is also supporting the classical and performing artists to build strategies and methodologies to improve equity and representation.
