Neha was a brand and digital marketer for about 7 years before she decided to quit and follow her heart to work as an actor in India.
She has been a performer since her school years, but over the last 5 years she has trained in The Eric Morris System, Clowning, Performing Shakespeare, Movement Practice and is continuously working towards strengthening her craft.
Internationally, she has worked and performed with Clowns without Borders, (India, Sweden, UK, South Africa) in India and Bangladesh. She has performed in a Production of Two Gentlemen Of Verona, directed by Ben Crystal for the Prague Shakespeare Company.
She loves creating new work and has most recently created shows interpreting Shakespeare's works in Hindi.
It was during her stint with the Prague Shakespeare company that she came across intimacy choreography and has since worked towards building a practice for India. In her work as a producer, she has always endeavoured to ensure safe spaces for performers. She has built her intimacy work on a strong foundation of movement and acting craft.
She founded Anat Speaks Content Collective, as an initiative to create intersectional feminist content through film, poetry and music for, by and about women, trans, genderqueer and gender fluid creators. Through Anat Speaks, she has been able to support filmmakers from marginalised genders in bringing alive their visions through collaborations and resource focussed support.
Currently she is also adding to her training as an intimacy professional through various international organisations. As an intimacy professional apart from working on set, she hopes to work with actors and empower them to own their personal spaces and bodies, and to get this work included in acting curriculums across the country.
